Commissioned by the Fonds voor de Scheppende Toonkunst
Performed many times by the Doelenquartet in Amsterdam, Rotterdam (de Doelen, Stadhuis, Lantaren/Venster), Groningen (Wolfgang Rihm-festival)
Early 2003 this work will be released on CD by label Cybele. With this work Edward Top was awarded first prize in the 2003 Salvatore Martirano Memorial Composition Award Competition at the University of Illinois, USA.
